  • Recommended & coordinated 2010 3D seismic pre-stack geostatistical inversion project to support future development drilling of Upper Sub Zone (USZ) Kekiktuk interval at Endicott Field.

4/2005-2/2007 Geophysicist; BP Exploration (Alaska), Inc., Anchorage, Alaska; Geophysical structural & stratigraphic interpretation, supervision of 3D seismic processing, and field development support for Endicott, Northstar, Pt. Thomson, Badami, and Pt. McIntyre field areas.

2/2004-3/2005 Geophysicist; Lisburne Field, BP Exploration (Alaska), GPMA-GPB, Anchorage

Development geophysicist for the Alaska BU Lisburne Field with primary responsibilities to provide geophysical support for the Lisburne Field development, ensure the highest quality seismic data for structural and stratigraphic interpretation covering all GPMA field areas, utilize results of seismic anisotropic velocity analysis for Lisburne fracture detection and targeting development drilling, and evaluate Pre-Stack Depth Migration (PSDM) for structural imaging improvement.

  •  First use of Coil Tubing Drilling at Lisburne Field in 2003 (K-317B) currently producing ~250 bopd with cum oil production of 1.2 mmbo

  •  Completed CTD sidetrack L1-15A in 10/2003 currently producing ~200 bopd with cum oil production of 1.74 mmbo as of 1/7/2011.

2/2003-3/2004 Geophysicist/Project Technical Lead; BP Exploration (Alaska), GPMA-GPB, Anchorage

3/2000-2/2003 Geophysicist, BP, GPMA-GPB, Niakuk/Pt. McIntyre/Lisburne, Anchorage

Provided geophysical support for Niakuk & Pt. McIntyre development drilling. Re-processed 3D seismic covering Pt. McIntyre, Niakuk, and Lisburne fields. Merged 3D time data volumes covering Pt. McIntyre/Niakuk field areas and completed isotropic azimuthal velocity processing with AXIS Imaging (now ION AXIS Imaging). Utilized merged time gathers as input for Pre-Stack Depth Migration (PSDM) processing with WesternGeco to correct 3D seismic data for permafrost-induced mispositioning. Completed anisotropic azimuthal velocity processing on the PBU Up Dip Gravity Drainage (UDGD) 3D seismic survey for improved structural imaging, open fracture orientation, and open fracture intensity information.
